“I am very involved, in many ways, as a parent of a Butternut student. We have a new principal this year due to the unfortunate circumstances of our former principal's passing away last year. It is still early in the year, but from what I know, have seen and heard, this woman is awesome in what she does and VERY dedicated to our school and the students! The teachers, as most know, have a curriculum to follow, but do have a little leeway as to how to approach this. We all have good days and bad days and parents have to realize this! Teachers are faced with our 'free society' & the fact that they are required, in a public system, to accept any and all children. I believe because of that they are faced with issues above and beyond their call of duty!”

“Butternut is a great small school only K-3. The staff is friendly & accomodating. The PTA is dynamic & active, providing many opportunites for families & children. The teachers are very dedicated and participate in extra-curricular activities, so we got to know them very well. My daughter would highly recommend the Library. Butternut was a great school for our family!”
