Forest Park Middle School Reviews

i think this is a good school but not great. theyhad great teachers but not good students!!!

This school is AMZING!! It is so much better than any catholic school!! It is way more organized. I just started like 2 months ago but i love it!!!

I have two children that just finished the 6th grade and I couldn't be more pleased. They both did exceptionally well. The teachers were very involved and truly cared about them. There were many academic and extracurricular activities. This school has great leadership and is doing well.

Our 6th grader was due to attend Central Middle School this past September, and we chose to move him to Forest Park. We have not been disappointed yet. From the Principal, on down, we are pleased with the school. The teachers on Team Bobcat are among the best I have met. They genuinely want the kids to succeed, and have a fantastic attitude with our kids. But, the also expect respect, and I fully support that. Our 6th grader has made an exceptional transition from elementary to Jr. High, and we owe most of that to the staff and atmosphere at Forest Park. Discipline is expected. Learning is expected. Being positive about the future of Euclid Schools is expected. I believe that Euclid is making a comeback, and we are very pleased with Forest Park!

My child is doing fine academically, and I am fine with the classroom. I do, however, have concerns about the number of fights I hear about in the hallways, in the lunchroom and on the playground. I also believe there is a perceived lack of respect and respect. I am encouraged by some initiatives being discussed regarding discipline and alternatives for 'repeat offenders.'

There is a high level of racial intimidation practiced by the students of this school. The principal that this problem was brought to thought this was a non-issue, kids being kids. The teachers are good though. They seem genuinely interested in their students, and interact well with students and other teachers. Unfortunately, in this case good teachers do not win over bad attitudes in the students, and an administration that looks the other way.

Forest Park is a wonderful school! I couldn't be more pleased with the principal, teachers and staff. I however wish that the students would come to school ready to learn and behave like their parents taught them to do instead of cutting up each day and affecting the education of their peers.

Teachers get away with grading students as they see fit, which is mostly based on the way that they feel about students and their parents, instead of the child's actual academic abilities and achievement, or following the school handbook's guidelines. The general principal does nothing to truly resolve and rectify parent complaints against teachers. Parents have no voice at this school. There is alot of retaliation and intimidation, should a problem arise with your child. If your child is scheduled to attend this school, run! Please, either move or send your child to a private school.
