John Hay High School Reviews

My daughter is a Senior at John Hay's School of Science and Medicine. Based on my observations and a an involved parent for the past 3 years, I have found the school to be consistent with providing with the following: a rigorous and challenging academic curriculum, extra curricular opportunities that bring a balance to their busy schedules, student internships and community experiences. This environment has prepared my child to be able to successfuly compete for scholarships and attend a college or university of her choice. The environment is focused on being the best you can be academically and at the same time enjoy doing it. This atmosphere is the result of our Principle, Mr. Weber, Teachers, Support Staff, Parents and students.

cleveland school of science and medicine is the best for all students of all races that can come and do well. Now i'm in the 10 grade and that first year was great, i saw many great teachers and students that want to learn. John hay as a whole is like a great Private school in a public setting. Mr.Weber is the greatest and most caring person that this school ever had. I'm proud! and I hope it will get better each year.

John Hay Highschool is the Harvard of Cleveland high schools.

I am a proud parent of a student at John Hay . My daughter selected this school and it has exceeded my expections. I find this school tohave brought out the very best in her by challenging her, making her have to work hard for good grades. they are doing a great job at preparing her for college.

John Hay is a wonderful place to be. I would encourage anyone to attend. I attend Science & Medicine and I have never experienced anything like it.

John Hay is a great high school I am enrolled in the Cleveland School of Science and Medicine as a freshman and the teachers are awesome, they will try to help in every way posswible. The programs are also great, CSSM has a partnership with the Cleveland Clinic where we are able to veiw live surgeys and perpare us for our careers in the feild of science and medcine.

John Hay offers that competitive edge and the teachers are so helpful. They really want you to succeed, because they push you. Ms.Frew is an excellent principal here at Early College. I like her very much. She's really encouraging. I encourage studious students to check this school out!

I love this school because it has a nice enviornment and the teacher are great.

I graduated from John Hay/ Early College in 2007, I believe that John Hay is one of the best schools in cleveland because the student push themselves. Eveyone seems really ready to learn and that makes a big difference.

This school gets us prepared for ivy league colleges and puts us above the other high school students. Its challenging but the teachers are always willing to help. An all honors, curriculum, post secondary enrollment options, and caring teachers are just a few of the features offered by the John Hay Campus. This is really a great school for students who want to excel.

This is a very Great school the students are anixouis to learn evrything. This is a great experiance and learing enviorment.

I think this school is a very good school.Although it's challenging

My son attends john hay school of architecture and design. His class will be the first graduating class of architecture and design. The school works with many different business's in the community along with a lot of the colleges to provide a college prep atmosphere in the cleveland public school district. The teachers really care about the students and push them to excell. Mediocracy is not accepted. Mrs. Cooper is the principal and she is very hands on with the students. I have her cell phone number programmed into my phone. She is always available for conferences and the school often encourages it. There is a zero tolerance policy and all students must maintain a 3.0 Gpa to stay in the school. I feel as if my son is recieving a private school education in a public school district.
