“My daughter has been at Ruffing since first grade and will be finishing Middle School next year. It has provided a nurturing, caring environment within an excellent academic setting. Children are instilled with the love of learning and are able to soar beyond their grade level in a carefully planned curriculum. Ruffing is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools and follows state curricular guidelines. The entire child's needs are addressed, both emotional and intellectual. Students are, also,taught that they are part of a global community and have a responsibility to the environment. Diversity is celebrated and welcomed. There is a strong sense of unity and committment among Ruffing parents regardless of income level. It has my highest recommendation.”

“Very biased admissions- they do not have a very diverse student body. The teachers/admin/ and other parents are borderline snotty and too concerned with appearances and their social status. If you want to keep up with the Jones' send your kid here- otherwise look for alternatives. They do not even hold accreditation in Montessori society any longer”

“I had an OK experience here, but that was only because the academics were excellent. The school is predominantly wealthy and there are students who make fun of people with a lower economic status. The teachers don't do anything about it.”
