St. Stanislaus School Reviews

I'm a student at St. stans right now, and I love it! I've been there since kindergarden, and I am now in 7th grade. They have great teachers, and staff. And St. Stanislaus is just awesome!!!!

I chose St. Stans because I did not want to send my son to Cleveland Public Schools. He went last year for 2nd grade and will be going back for 3rd. I think the principal is awesome, she really shows her dedication to the students and parents. The school is also very affordable for those parents who do not receive vouchers.

im a student @ st.stans and i think this school is so awesome! the best school i have ever been to! and the teachers are great mostly Mr.K he's a great teacher!!!!! and are new principal is great to...and i hope central is to!

I am currently a student attending St. Stanislaus and in my opinion I think that it is a great school. We are students of spirit, knowledge and community. Spirit because we go to church and pray daily. Knowledge because are teachers are highly qualified and care about us. That is why we become intelligent young men and women. Lastly it is Community because we are a big family here, we all care about each other. We have great extra curricular activities as well as courses which include Algera 1 at Cleveland Central Catholic for eighth graders (which I am in) and many others. We have a variety of sports to choose from and every one of our teams are great (the best to be exact)! We also have free head start programs. With all that said I would like to conclude by saying St. Stans is a great school!

This school has changed a lot during the past year. The new principal is awesome. The teachers seem more motivated to get the kids learning. Discipline is LOTS better.

I am a parent of a child who attends Saint Stanislaus School. If it were not for dedicated teachers such as Mr. Hinz and Mr. Krakowski in the Eighth grade that school would be lost. Thank God for these two excellent teachers!

I am also a concerned parent. My son has attended St. Stanislaus going on the third year I am so glad this is his last year. The children are out of control !! The Principal has no control over the students. I think new staffing needs to be in place.

I must agree that the school is over crowded and there is lack of classroom management if I wanted this type of enviorment i would have let my children attend public school. The things that go on in this building are rediculous and the grading system at this school is unfair to the children and very discouraging. The parent involvement is about the best thing going at this school. There isnt any extracurricular activities for the elementary children .

I am so disgusted with this school. The Principal does not seem to follow through on commitment to the students in the way of prompt attention to students who are acedemically challenged and to student violence. The kids at this school are out of control and the behavior issues are terribly concerning. I have personnally witnessed children fighting, cussing, and harassing other kids (particulary in the morning just before school starts). There are no faculty memebers outside in the morning to guide students into the building and break up fights or bad behavoir as it is going on. I've complained about this several times, but it seems that nothing is ever done about it. Not to mention the overwhelming number of kids in the classrooms. My child is in a class with 34 kids in it. The nun that teaches the class is also overwhelmed. She cannot control them.

Teachers try hard to teach. I think discipline is getting out of hand.

I think that the school needs to be able to have many more sports that the students can play nad have more involvement in and also the teachers are to concerned about the notes the kids pass when they should be paying more attention to the kids learning abilities. Please pay more attention to the kids overal learning abilities more than their little notes they pass. Thank you for listenin, a Concerned Parent.
