Horizon Science Academy Cleveland Reviews

My daughter is a student at HSA-Denison. She has been in private, Catholic, Baptist and now HSA. This is the best school by far that she has attended. The school has caring and concerned teachers. I do wish more parents would get involved, we have PTO once a month, with just a handful of parents showing up. The field trips are amazing, makes me wish I was a kid again. I was able to chaperone one field trip. Anyone in the Cleveland area looking for a middle school should really consider HSA, you will not be disappointed.

My family moved from a suburban area in which the school district was failing miserably. Although, my daughter was a continuos Honor Roll Student, her academic desire was decreasing. Due to other issues, we moved to Cleveland. I immediately sought a better school alternative than Cleveland which we are aware is failing also. By God's Grace,I found Horizon Science Academy Middle School. Since Jan. 2007, I have been absolutely pleased beyond words! The staff are awesome. They truly care about the students. It shows in their curriculum, their communication w/parents & students and the increased desire of knowledge that my daughter has demonstrated. Parental involvement is encouraged and received. Quality of education is exceptional. Although, there could be more extra-activities. However, since it is a small setting and not within a typical school bldg. This is understood. I am confident that the Best Is Yet To Come!

In the first year, school is rated as 'Continuous Improvement'. They are shooting for being an 'Excellent' school. I have full belief in the school. They are really working too hard to make it happen. I am fully satisfied with the education my child is getting and the afterschool activities there.
