Sushi Rock: versatile and delicious
Sushi Rock isn’t your typical sushi café. With selections that are a bit Americanized (raw-fish free!), it's an ideal venue for the sushi novice, but also attracts those who love traditional sushi and sashim .
Included in the restaurant's award-winning fare are tempting sushi offerings such as the Pretty Woman -- a roll made of smoked salmon, cucumber, avocado, cream cheese and kiwi -- and the Big Mouth, which features spicy deep-fried tuna, chopped crab meat and spicy mayo.
For those who prefer American food, Sushi Rock offers juicy filet mignon, ribeye steaks, pan-seared Chilean sea bass and more. It doesn’t take a seasoned food critic to see that Sushi Rock is as versatile as it is delicious.
Decadent sides, such as the creamy lobster mashed potatoes and truffle macaroni and cheese, complete any meal. Sushi Rock also offers an extensive assortment of appetizers and salads.
With locations in downtown Cleveland and Beachwood, Sushi Rock is accessible on the east and west sides. The restaurant offers half-priced sushi on Wednesdays from 5-9 p.m. (Thursdays in Beachwood). During this special, patrons can dine at this premiere restaurant for nearly the same price as a burger at the local drive-through.
A fully stocked bar, energetic music choices and low lighting help create a fun dining experience. Happy hour is from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Happy hour specials at Sushi Rock include half-priced appetizers at the bar and drink discounts.
Reservations are encouraged on weekends for larger parties. Dress is casual, as is the atmosphere. Sushi Rock also offers catering services. Visit the Sushi Rock website for more details.
