Table 45 brings chic ambience, haute cuisine
May 12, 2009
One step into Table 45 Restaurant in Cleveland and you’ll understand why restaurant critics give this classy eatery rave review after rave review. With chic and minimalist décor, Table 45 delivers atmosphere that's comparable only to New York City’s finest supper clubs.
Lots of frosted glass, stainless steel, plush seats and black leather upholstery give Table 45 a crisp, clean, detailed look that puts all emphasis on the haute cuisine. Delicately plated and beautifully arranged, each dish is such a treat to the eyes that it’s almost a shame that they were created to be eaten. That is, until you’ve taken the first bite.
For starters, try the tuna Carpaccio — a combination of ahi tuna, cucumber Brunoise, tomatoes, olives and feta cheese crumbles. If soup is more your thing, try the black bean, which is topped with fresh goat cheese and sour cream.
For dinner, try the oven roasted Tandoori chicken, a spicy dish featuring a juicy chicken breast cooked Tandoor-style, white truffle polenta, baby carrots and a delicate rosemary butter. Other great choices include braised short ribs with red-skin potatoes and roasted fennel; veal piccatta with roasted garlic orzo, Moroccan ratatouille and caper-butter sauce; and olive oil and Italian herb infused halibut with ivory lentils, saffron aioli and a garlic-paprika broth.
Table 45’s dessert menu features an array of mouth-watering choices like chocolate-tea cremeux with Earl Grey tea ice cream and lemon curd, sticky toffee pudding with warm caramel and crème fraiche and a flourless chocolate cake with cabernet gelee and peanut butter mousse.
Table 45 offers a full bar with an extensive wine list that includes imported and domestic labels. An eight-seat chef’s table, located in the main kitchen, provides an exclusive menu prepared by the head chef himself. Reservations can be made online.
Business attire and reservations are required on weekends.
