Brown Bag Burgers: Make your own masterpiece
As you walk into Brown Bag Burgers in North Olmsted, tummy growling in anticipation of the meal to come, you’ll immediately notice the intoxicating aroma of fresh-grilled beef, baking bread and sliced onions and mushrooms sautéed in just a hint of butter.
You might be tempted to order one of everything on the eatery’s menu — but the burgers at Brown Bag are so huge that you’d never get through more than one. And the ingredients are so fresh that it would be an insult to the burgers themselves to pack them into takeout boxes to store in your refrigerator.
Dripping with meaty juices and piled high with as many or as few toppings as you’d like, Brown Bag burgers are served on the restaurant’s own home-baked buns — perfect for soaking up stray sauces without getting mushy.
Don’t feel like less of a man (or woman!) if you have to cut your masterpiece of a sandwich in half to enjoy it. That may be the only way you’re going to get to enjoy that hot, scrumptious burger once you add on all you want of the free toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion slices, jalapeños, pickles, cucumbers, bruschetta, pico de gallo, chili, roasted red peppers, bacon, sautéed mushrooms or onions, fried onion straws, 11 lip-smacking sauces and five choices of cheeses, to be exact.)
All burgers cost either $4 or $5. Adding French fries will add just $2 to $3 — depending on the amount and toppings on those fresh-cut fries — to your order.
Beef not quite your thing? No problem! Brown Bag offers turkey, veggie, chicken breast, and even shrimp burgers, so there’s something for everyone!
What?! You’re not hungry for a burger at all? Brown Bag also offers grilled sandwiches, tasty soups (the mushroom bisque and chicken tortilla are fantastic!) and crisp, fresh salads.
In addition to soft drinks ($1.59 with free refills), Brown Bag Burgers also serves smoothies for $2.89.
