The Mad Greek Restaurant: one-stop Greek and Indian Cuisine

Published: Jan 16, 2009

The Mad Greek Restaurant is a favorite among  locals. With a menu boasting both traditional Greek and Indian dishes, patrons will surely find something to tickle the taste buds.

Signature entrees couple tradition with imagination: authentic Greek salad with plump Kalamata olives, Moussaka casserole made with eggplant and ground beef, authentic risotto with toasted pine nuts, fennel and wild mushrooms, and Malabar Seafood Curry with scallops and shrimp in a cashew and cilantro curry. The full-service bar offers many traditional Greek and Indian drinks, as well as an impressive selection of fine imported wines.

The dining area is bright and cheery; reminiscent of a Greek terrace. Crisp white table linen accents tiled floors, dark-colored carpentry and wrought-iron throughout. Luscious green foliage and a modern scheme of multi-level windows bring the outdoors inside when the weather turns cold. On warmer days, enjoy your meal outside on Mad Greek's patio, soothed by a beautiful waterfall. The upper level features bold colors and traditional Greek and Indian artwork.

Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends. Dress is business casual. Prices are moderate, ranging from $12 to $25. Hours of operation are 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Monday, 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 4-10 p.m. on Sundays.
