Fat Fish Blue: a bit of Bayou heaven in Downtown Cleveland

If you’re looking for authentic Cajun food at modest prices and some of the best live jazz and blues in Cleveland, look no further than downtown Cleveland’s Fat Fish Blue Restaurant.

A taste experience unlike any other in the city, Fat Fish Blue’s menu is as close to the bayou as you can get. With dishes including authentic Louisiana jambalaya, Po’ Boy sandwiches, Alabama shrimp and cheddar grits, boiled crawdads and red beans and rice, there is something for any Cajun-lover’s palette.

Even if traditional Creole isn’t your thing, the restaurant offers a variety of classic dishes from fettuccini alfredo to burgers or Jack Daniel’s pecan crusted chicken breast with bourbon maple glaze.

While the food is both affordable and delicious, the music is what really pulls the experience together for patrons. With lots of local blues and jazz acts performing live each and every weekend, your ears will be as happy as your taste buds. Patrons often enjoy close-up encounters with the musicians themselves. It isn’t at all rare for them to perform while walking through the dining area.

The restaurant presents a fun, casual atmosphere with unique lighting effects at night and three stories of windows for natural lighting in the daytime. Fat Fish Blue can go from a quiet, intimate dining experience for a business lunch to a full-blown party during live-music events.

Located one block from Tower City Center, Fat Fish Blue makes an excellent place for shoppers to enjoy a bite.. Each year, the restaurant hosts hundreds of guests for their famous annual New Years Eve and Marti Gras parties.

Reservations are recommended on the weekends, especially for larger parties. A cover charge may apply on weekends featuring live music.
