Vivo: Latin spice, festive atmosphere

Vivo’s sleek, stylish atmosphere and clean, simple menu set a high standard in fine dining. Plush seating, dramatic colors and rich upholstery make the dining area enjoyable, intimate and inviting.
Located in Cleveland’s Old Arcade, an extravagant retail mall build in the late 1800s, Vivo is one of the trendiest places to enjoy contemporary Italian cuisine and good company. The menu features a variety of homemade pastas, meats and seafood. From classic spaghetti to proscuitto wrapped chicken breast, Vivo features items for people with all kinds of tastes.
Dinner recommendations include the Farfalle al Salmone, which features heavenly smoked salmon in a rich vodka cream sauce over tender bowtie pasta, Ossobuco, a tender veal shank in Barolo wine with crisp vegetables, and the Tonno Pepato Grigliato con Aceto — a sesame crusted Ahi tuna filet with capers and a balsamic mint vinaigrette served over fresh vegetables.
A large variety of salads are also available. Try the Fantasia- a combination of watercress, fresh plump tomatoes, crumbled blue cheese and crunchy walnuts.
After enjoying your gourmet meal, be sure not to miss out on Vivo’s indulgent dessert options. The Vanilla Panna Cotta — an amalgamation of pistachio tuile, tuaca poached pears and vanilla beans and the caramel crème brulee with seasonal berries are both excellent choices.
The V-Lounge, Vivo’s trendy bar, features famous deejays who spin European music and barmaids that serve up fabulous cocktails in a plush, upscale atmosphere. It's a great place to relax on the weekends or before your meal. The V-Lounge is open on Fridays and Saturdays only at 8 p.m.
