Johnny's Restaurant Downtown: fine Italian food and atmosphere

This swanky eatery boasts a guest list that includes many local celebrities, politicians and sports figures. One of Cleveland’s hottest spots to indulge in an intimate meal, Johnny’s Downtown is sure to give even non-celebrities the star treatment.
Exquisite hors d'oerves such as imported caviars, oysters on the half shell and French escargot appear on the dinner menu. An extensive wine list featuring many Italian imports means that guests are sure to find a bottle that will complement their meals.
Menu recommendations include the potato-encrusted grouper, Alaskan halibut picatta with lobster potato hash and lemon butter, and the famous Italian Feast, which features scampi, shrimp, scallops and mussels over tender linguine.
While Johnny’s Downtown boasts a formidable seafood selection, patrons can choose from among many veal, lamb, duck and beef dishes, as well as the great homemade Italian gnocchi.
During the spring and summer months, Johnny’s invites guests to dine on the outdoor patio. A great spot to enjoy a glass of sweet Italian moscato after dinner, the patio overlooks the city in the heart of the Warehouse District, which can be especially beautiful at sunset.
