L'Albatros Restaurant

L'Albatros Brasserie in University Heights is one of the only places in Cleveland to go for a true French meal in a modern atmosphere that is fun and flirty. L'Albatros is cozy and comfortable, yet the chic interior is enough to impress even the most critical of dinner dates. The goat cheese tart with olives and sun-dried tomatoes or smoked salmon plate with brioche and dill mayonnaise make the perfect starter to that romantic evening.

The roasted chicken with farfel, lemon-rosemary glaze and roasted parsnips; seared sea scallops with Brussels sprouts, noodles and pernod cream; braised leg of lamb with pasta risotto and rosemary jus; and veal short rib with mushroom risotto and veal jus are perfect meals with impeccable flavors.

If you're in the mood for something a bit lighter, try the Croque Monsieur: a French ham sandwich with imported cheese and bechamel sauce.

A variety of pizzas, such as the Bianco, which is made with creamy fontina cheese, rosemary, garlic and Parmesan, are also available.

Of course, L'Albatros desserts are as decadent as they come. A frozen Grand Marnier souffle, warm chocolate brownie with crème Anglais and sweet pineapple tart are among the available indulgences.
