Agave Tequileria and Cocina: fine Mexican cuisine and beverages
Agave Tequileria and Cocina is Crocker Park's premier Mexican and Latin restaurant. With more than 65 labels of tequila and 25 types of rum, Agave knows Mexican cocktails in and out.
A modern, upbeat atmosphere, festive Mexican music and colorful decor make for a fiesta of delicious Mexican and Latin-inspired dishes and knock-your-socks-off cocktails. The modern Latin art and live music on the weekends are great for entertaining diners, and the huge two-story window is perfect for watching passersby.
Agave's menu serves up Latin and Mexican dishes with an Americanized twist. The dishes are served in tapas. According to the restaurant, two tapas equals one meal, but depending on the items ordered, you may find yourself stuffed before you've polished off both. Upon ordering, you'll also get unlimited bowls of Agave's homemade corn tortilla chips and mildly spicy salsa.
A large array of fruity margaritas, beers and other bar items are available. Burritos, enchiladas, salads, tacos, soups, carnitas and fajitas are just some of items appearing on the menu.
Vistor favorites include the Cuban Sliders- a sandwich with pulled pork, pickles, cheddar cheese, cole slaw and anchiote, Carribbean Jerk Wings with grilled plantains and Carribbeans slaw, and Brazilian crab cakes made with blue crab, mango relish and chili aioli. A kids menu is available with items starting at $6.
Reservations are encouraged on busy weekends and for larger parties. Dress is casual.
