First Watch: breakfast, brunch and lunch

Published: Feb 24, 2009

First Watch Restaurant is a great place to enjoy a bite during a strenuous shopping excursion at the shops of  Westlake's Crocker Park complex. Open for breakfast, brunch and lunch, First Watch specializes in a variety of gourmet omelettes, sandwiches, salads and delicious wraps.

A laid back, stress-free atmosphere with gentle lighting and soft music lets diners relax and enjoy a freshly prepared meal and refuel after a long bout of window browsing. It is also the ideal place for a post-church meal with the family on Sunday.

First Watch offers a distinctive dish called the "Crepegg." This cross between a sweet thin French crepe and a fluffy omelette is stuffed with a variety of mouth watering fillings. The Turkey Dill Crepeggs are a favorite, bringing together the tastes of smoked turkey, mushrooms, spinach, onions, tomatoes and jack cheese, then smothered in a hollandaise sauce and sprinkled with fresh dill.

Another favorite is the Won’s Oriental Salad —  a scrumptious mix of teriyaki-glazed chicken breast, fresh vegetables, water chestnuts, cashews, crunchy Asian noodles, mandarin oranges and sweet and sour dressing, served over a bed of crisp, green romaine lettuce.

A variety of health conscious options are also available. Whether you are watching fat, sugar or carbs, First Watch has you covered.

The dress at First Watch is casual. Reservations are not required, except for large parties.
