Rockne's is a Cleveland and Akron landmark

Sep 27, 2009

Rockne's is a local Irish pub chain featuring locations all over Cleveland and Akron. This fun, laid-back bar and grill is perfect for drinks with friends or supper with family. Famous for their spicy buffalo wings and grilled rueben sandwich, Rockne's is a small chain with a huge heart.

Personal service in a classic American atmosphere is what Rockne's is all about. The wait staff is friendly, fun and prompt, and the prices are just right. All in all, Rockne's is the quintessential classic eatery.

To start off your Rockne's meal, try the battered artichoke petals in a creamy parmesan dipping sauce or the famous bacon cheddar carnival fries with sour cream.

Sandwiches and burgers, of course, are the name of Rockne's game. Try the in-house gyros: warm gyro meat in a warm pita with tomatoes, onions and creamy cucumber yogurt dressing. The #1 Terminator sub, which features shaved ribeye steak with American and provolone cheeses, carnival fries, lettuce, tomato and special sauce, is as tasty as they come. If burgers are your favorite, the Max the Knife, which weighs in at more than a pound, features four (yep, we said four) premium beef patties, lettuce, tomato and melted cheese with a side of special sauce on a buttered triple bun, is sure to please.

House specialty plates include Cajun jambalaya, Angus meatloaf, chicken stir fry and fajitas. A variety of salads and soups are also on hand.

A kids menu featuring child-friendly favorites like chicken fingers, mac & cheese and hot dogs is available for the little ones.

Lots of cold beer, wine and mixed drinks are available at Rockne's bar. A tall glass of Blue Moon and a Rockne's burger or hot wings is the perfect way to unwind after a long day at work.

Rockne's has 10 locations in the Cleveland are Akron area. For a list of locations, click here.
