Downtown's Brasa: a taste of Brazil in Cleveland

Jul 6, 2009

Downtown's Brasa Brazilian Grill Steakhouse is one of Cleveland's trendiest and most distinct eateries. With extremely flavorful dishes served in a sexy, playful atmosphere, Brasa is a true feast of the senses

Utilizing a method of cooking known as churrasco, Brasa's talented chefs are truly saturated in the culture of Brazilian cuisine. Prime cuts of meat are cooked in the churrasco-style by roasting them over glowing wood embers until they're cooked to perfection. The server then slices the meat directly onto the patron's plates.

It certainly doesn't get any fresher than that. Or does it?

Brasa's salad bar is second to none and seems to go on for miles. Featuring only the freshest locally grown and imported produce, the bar boasts several types of olives; beets; eggplants; vegetables; cheeses and lettuces, along with dozens of other items. Many of the dressings are homemade, and the result is a clean, delicious taste that you'd swear was plucked right out of a Brazilian garden just hours ago.

All-in-all, the Brasa dining concept is simple. Fresh-carved meats like beef; lamb; pork; turkey and chicken make it a carnivore's dream come true, while the amazing salad bar lures in veggie-lovers and omnivores alike.

You'll also take in the ambiance that is truly Brasa. Catchy Brazilian beats playing in the background are sure to lift even the lowest spirits. The swirling colors of the captivating artwork that adorns the walls of the establishment seem to enhance the vibe of the whole facility. Brasa will definitely make you feel as if you've hopped a plane to Rio De Janeiro.

A full-service bar and well-stocked wine selection is available to accompany your meal.

Reservations are especially helpful on the weekends, and business-casual attire is appreciated. Semi-private party rooms are on-site for booking, and valet service is available.
