IX Indoor Amusement Park: Loads of fun for 21 years!
Mar 10, 2010
The I.X. Center's Indoor Amusement Park has been a Cleveland-area tradition for 21 years, and it doesn't look like that will be changing any time soon. Each spring comes that familiar song that Clevelanders hear on televisions and radios that sends the kiddies running from yards away:
"Come to the IX Indoor Amusement Park,
Gotta' get to the IX Indoor Amusement Park,
It's here today,
Not gonna stay,
Go right away to the
IX Indoor Amusement Park!"
Well, it's back again this year. Three weeks of fun family memories featuring the original petting zoo, thrill and kiddie rides, live concerts and shows, a funhouse and even more family-friendly entertainment options than ever before.
This year's event takes place from March 26 to April 18 at the I.X. Center near Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport.
An all-new attraction, the "Big Cat Encounter," features a live show with six Siberian and Bengal tigers. Other now-famous attractions such as the Thrill City amusement park rides, which features 25 adult thrill rides such as the Vertigo, Freakout and Spinning Coaster; Kraft Kidzville, which features 25 kid-friendly rides like the Wacky Worm, Antique Cars and Kiddie Swings; petting zoo and haunted house are also included.
Events like the Ohio Sportsfest, which features interactive games and appearances by local celebrity athletes (March 27 and 28) and La Fiesta Latina, which features authetnic Latin food and music (April 17 and 18) will also be scheduled (additional fees may apply).
Midway games and food vendors mean that stuffed animals, caramel apples, funnel cakes, corn dogs and cotton candy will never be in short supply during your visit.
Enjoy a discounted family four-pack of tickets and a parking pass for just $59. Hotel accomodation packages and discount ticket information is available by clicking here.
