Cleveland Metroparks Big Met golf course is touted as the most popular course in Ohio. This par 72 course features 6,524 yards of perfectly manicured green complete with a variety of challenging holes.
The 18-hole course has hosted more than 6 million games since it opened in 1926. It was designed by Stanley Thompson and includes eight sand bunkers and a meticulously trimmed rough. Located in the Rocky River Reservation, a large dike that holds back the waters of the large river can be seen from several points throughout the course.
A large clubhouse and full-service restaurant, the Big Met Grille, is located on-site. The gently sloping hills and ample foliage along the edges of the course make for a scenic treat while providing an excellent course for both novices and experienced players.
