Whether you live in Cleveland or are just visiting, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum is  a must-see. With hundreds of one-of-a-kind exhibits from music legends like Michael Jackson, Nat King Cole, Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, Little Richard, The Beatles and others, it offers hours of entertainment.
Housed in an unmistakable seven-floor glass-pyramid structure created by Chinese architect I.M. Pei in 1990, the Hall of Fame has  more than 150,000 square feet of exhibit space and stands on the lakeshore of Cleveland’s North Coast Harbor district.
Floors one through five are home to permanent exhibits, while the displays on floors six and seven change every few months. It can take visitors up to seven hours to see everything.
Exhibits include such items as original instruments and other gear used by the music industry’s most famous performers, interactive listening areas, movies,  the history of the genre, a salute to radio, the history of Rolling Stone Magazine, and much more.
Cameras are prohibited from all areas of the museum except for the main lobby. Cameras and cell phones with cameras must be checked in before proceeding past the lobby. Note that some exhibits may not be child friendly, and parental discretion is advised.

The museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Summer hours are extended until 9 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The museum is closed only on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Local adult residents (verified by ID) receive a $4 discount off of adult admission.
