Playhouse Square Center brings Broadway to Cleveland
One of Cleveland’s most renowned treasures is Playhouse Square Center — complexes of theaters that provide great space for plays and music.
The second largest theater district in the country (beaten only by Lincoln Center in New York City), Playhouse Square Center is made up of seven theaters in Cleveland’s Theater District.
The Hanna, State, Ohio, Allen, Kennedy, 14th Street and Palace theaters all call Playhouse Square Center home. Touring Broadway acts like Cats, Hairspray, The Lion King and Chicago use the Playhouse Square Center, along with local schools and academies.
Blue Man Group and Stomp have appeared at Playhouse Square Center, and holiday favorites like The Nut Cracker and the Radio City Rockettes are showcased annually.
Intermission goodies are available at a variety of concession stands, while beer and wine are sold at lounges throughout the complex. A variety of restaurants are also located within walking distance of Playhouse Square.
Prices for shows vary depending on seat location and show type.
