The Corner Alley: Fun is just down the lane
One of Cleveland’s most distinct dining and entertainment establishments is The Corner Alley — a posh bowling alley, bar and restaurant located downtown.
A versatile entertainment venue featuring American fare, plush bowling facilities and two stocked bars makes The Corner Alley one of Cleveland’s premiere attractions for those looking for a good meal and lots of fun.
Forget dingy interiors, hard plastic seats, cheap deep-fried finger foods and stale pizza. The Corner Alley is plush, chic and modern, with deejays spinning top-40 tunes and a high-energy dance floor complete with club lights. The laid-back, comfortable atmosphere is perfect for unwinding after a long day at work.
The American menu in the 4th Street Grill Restaurant offers an assortment of gourmet foods — starting with hot appetizers that will get your taste buds revved up. Choices range from Caribbean jerk chicken and rolls to the fried pickle chips.
Fresh-made pizzas include the mouth-watering all-American Cheeseburger pie, which features ground beef, American cheese, dill pickle chips, red onions, ketchup and mustard.
Great entrée choices also include items like spicy penne salsicca (with spicy Italian sausage, asparagus, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms and spinach tossed in a sweet citrus alfredo sauce); roasted pork loin (with roasted garlic and sweet onion confit); and potato-crusted walleye (with citrus burre blanc).
There are a large variety of grilled steaks, from flat iron to rib eye, sandwiches, wraps and burgers. (Be sure to try the teriyaki chicken sandwich with mozzarella, cheddar and caramelized onions, mushrooms and chunks of crisp bacon!)
Sixteen lanes of fast-paced bowling action and grooving on the Corner Alley dance floor provide an excellent place to work off built-up stress from the office — and to exercise away that chocolate fudge cake from the 4th Street Grill.
Dress at The Corner Alley is casual and reservations aren’t required unless you’re bringing a large party. Bowling is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
